Job Description:
EY345 Contract Supervisor
Location: Kettering based, with UK wide travel
Salary: £35,000 + benefits package + company vehicle
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients, to join a well-established industry services provider supporting water utilities and the petrochemical sector. The company specialises in media refurbishment and related field operations across the UK.
This role includes both site-based and office-based responsibilities, ensuring that contracts are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be based near our clients Kettering Head Office and open to frequent travel across the UK, including overnight stays.
Candidates from an ex-military background are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise the execution of contracts on-site with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
*Manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
*Maintain communication with clients to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved.
*Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and seamless project delivery.
*Track progress of ongoing works and report updates to senior management.
*Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
*Maintain thorough documentation and records for all site and contract activities.
*Provide technical support and mentorship to site teams and contractors.
Qualifications:
*Demonstrable experience supervising site-based contracts.
*Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
*Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
*Comfortable using digital tools for project tracking and reporting.
*Full UK driving licence.
Desirable / Advantageous:
*Telehandler qualification
*Experience in the water industry
*Recognised qualifications within the water sector or engineering
*SSSTS and EUSR certifications
