Purchase Ledger ClerkLocation: Coalville
Salary: £13.50 - £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Contract: Temporary initially, with strong potential for extension and permanent opportunityThe Role We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk / P2P Specialist to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Coalville. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities * Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Matching, batching and coding invoices
* Managing subcontractor payment applications
* Processing employee expense claims
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Maintaining and updating supplier master data
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
About You * Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable or P2P
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Confident using finance systems and Excel
* Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
* A proactive approach to resolving queries
