Transactional Finance Manager
Location: Finance, Actuarial & Risk Department
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Transactional Finance Manager to lead our end-to-end transactional finance function within Finance Operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all transactional processes, supporting financial reporting, and upholding strong governance standards in line with company policies. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations across the transactional teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective financial processing.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Lead and manage the transactional finance team, focusing on engagement, motivation, performance, and productivity.
*Oversee daily activities across accounts payable, banking, and other transactional processes, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
*Manage workflow and team scheduling, ensuring adequate cover and supporting the team to exceed expectations.
*Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, resolving queries promptly and collaboratively.
*Produce accurate monthly reports for the department and internal stakeholders.
*Ensure all governance, audit, and compliance requirements are fully met, with all reporting and reviewing activities completed to agreed standards.
*Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to develop relationships and ensure department KPIs are achieved.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience leading and managing a finance team, with a focus on coaching, motivating, and supporting performance.
*Strong technical leadership skills, driving best practice across all transactional finance activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
*Proficiency in overseeing and auditing transactional processes, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
*Experience in performance and development management, including conducting reviews and supporting career development.
*Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain smooth operations.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining professional working relationships.
