Finance Manager
Tameside

Our client is a well-established SME manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage all areas of finance and would closely support the MD with progressive involvement throughout the operation, including HR, playing a key part in their continued growth and development.
The Finance Manager role reports directly into the MD and will be responsible for the following:
*Payroll, Pension and statutory submissions for 60+ employees.
*Some basic property management involvement.
*Purchase / Sales Ledger / Credit Control for £6 million turnover.
*Bank Reconciliation and currency transactions.
*Management accounts / year end trial balance / ad hoc financial reports.
*Two additional small company accounts, VAT and other required submissions.
*Negotiating contracts and overseeing various administrative processes.
*HR involvement in contracts / recruitment / compliance.
The position would involve a high level of hands-on involvement in day-to-day accounts functions / bookkeeping, along with a small element of supervision.
Core Competencies
You will be AAT / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with previous experience of working within the industry, preferably a manufacturing business in a similar role as above. You will need to be hands on and have technically strong accounting skills along with Sage experience. You will also need to be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
