What You Will Be Doing
This role moves you from transactional buying into a strategic procurement position, including:
*Developing and delivering procurement strategy alongside the Purchasing Manager

*Leading supplier sourcing, negotiation and contractual management

*Driving cost-reduction and identifying best-in-class supply solutions

*Managing supplier performance in capability, capacity and quality

*Supporting New Product Development procurement activity

*Contributing to continuous improvement and digital procurement initiatives

*Mentoring Buyers and deputising for the Purchasing Manager when required
