Sommelier, Up to £32,000 per annum + Tronc, Seasonal, Fresh Food Restaurant, Birmingham
What’s in it for the successful Sommelier?

Tonic are currently supporting our client, a highly regarded restaurant, in the search for a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier to join their team in Birmingham City Centre. As Sommelier, you will take ownership of the wine offering, curating and maintaining an exceptional wine list while enhancing the overall guest experience through expert knowledge, service, and recommendation.
What are we looking for from Sommelier candidates?
*Previous experience as a Sommelier or in a senior wine-focused role within a quality restaurant environment
*WSET qualification is essential (Level 2 minimum; Level 3 highly desirable)
*Strong knowledge of wine, regions, producers, and food pairings
*Passion for hospitality and delivering an elevated guest experience
*Excellent communication skills with confidence in guest interaction
*A stable employment history demonstrating loyalty and progression
