About the ClientOur client is a leading food producer and a recognised name within their sector, supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK. Due to continued operational demand, they are looking to strengthen their dispatch team with two reliable and capable Dispatch Operatives / Forklift Truck Drivers. You will not just be another number at this client, they are a family run business and employees are treated like family too.


The RoleThis is a hands-on, varied dispatch role and not purely forklift-based. Successful candidates will play a key part in ensuring orders are dispatched accurately, safely and on time, acting as a vital link between production, dispatch and transport.
Key responsibilities include:
*Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
*Loading and unloading vehicles
*Checking and processing order paperwork
*Liaising with HGV drivers and transport teams
*Confidently communicating with colleagues throughout the shift
*Supporting smooth handovers and dispatch operations
*Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping

What the Client Is Looking ForThe client is seeking dependable, proactive individuals who can work well in a fast-paced operational environment.
Essential:
*Valid forklift licence
*Strong level of English (spoken and written) English is the working language on site
*Confident communication skills
*Good attention to detail when checking paperwork and orders
*Willingness to work long shifts on a 3 on / 3 off pattern
Desirable:
*Previous experience in dispatch, warehouse or FMCG/food production environments
*Experience working in a time-critical logistics environment
