Job Description:
My client, a dynamic, forward thinking business is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliations Analyst to join their finance team based in the heart of Manchester city centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accuracy and insight through high-quality financial reconciliation work.
As a Reconciliations Analyst, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and external partners to maintain financial integrity and improve reconciliation processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to analyse large volumes of data, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also utilise BlackLine as the primary reconciliation system, maintaining account certifications, managing workflows, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and month-end deadlines.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a reconciliation, finance, or accounting role and a solid understanding of financial controls and processes. You should be comfortable working with large datasets in Excel and have hands-on experience using BlackLine for balance sheet reconciliations and account management. Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and clear communication skills are essential.
In return, my client offers a supportive and collaborative working environment in a modern city centre office. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to process improvements, and progress within a growing organisation that values accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
If you are a conscientious finance professional with BlackLine experience looking to take the next step in your career as a Reconciliations Analyst, we would love to hear from you.
