A quirky and growing SME based in the city centre is seeking a friendly and adaptable Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit finance team. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will support day-to-day accounting activities across both sales and purchase ledger. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be involved in processing invoices, allocating payments, reconciling accounts, handling queries, assisting with bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end processes. The ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay organised, and muck in where needed is essential.
Ideally, you will have:
*Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar all-round finance role
*A positive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
*Good communication skills and confidence working with colleagues across the business
*Experience using accounting software, or the ability to pick up new systems quickly
