Job Description:
*CANDIDATES WITH CURRENT, ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE OR HIGHER ONLY*
The Service Transition Manager is responsible for ensuring that new and changed services are transitioned into live operation in a controlled, compliant, and effective manner. Operating within an ITIL-aligned environment, the role acts as the bridge between Project Delivery and Live Service, ensuring that services handed over from Project Managers meet required operational, security, and service management standards and are fit for purpose for both internal users and external customers.
The role ensures that services are supportable, resilient, secure, and aligned to agreed service levels from day one.
*Strong experience as a Service Transition Manager or similar service management role
*Solid practical knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4) and service lifecycle management
*Experience transitioning services from project delivery into live operation
*Experience working in Microsoft-centric environments
*Strong understanding of operational support models and service assurance
*Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
