Job Description:
My client is looking for a full time Band 2/3 Phlebotomist to work in Essex.
Shift Times: 08:30am - 16:30pm or 9am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday.
Full time - 37.5 hours.
What You Need:
To be successful you need the following.
*Full UK Driving Licence with access to own car
*Experience working in Phlebotomy in the UK
*Phlebotomy certificates
As a phlebotomist, you will:
*Perform venepuncture (blood sampling from veins) and capillary sampling with accuracy and confidence
*Prepare, label, and handle specimens in accordance with laboratory and NHS guidelines
*Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
*Ensure adherence to infection control, health, and safety protocols
*Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and guidance during procedures
*Support the clinical team, assisting with other duties where appropriate
*Follow Trust/clinic policies for specimen transport, storage, and reporting
