The Role
As a key member of the team, you will support UK-listed clients across a full spectrum of governance responsibilities, including:
*Preparing board meeting agendas and digital board packs
*Attending board meetings and drafting minutes
*Drafting AGM Notices and related shareholder documentation
*Reviewing annual report disclosures against corporate governance codes
*Maintaining digital statutory books and records
*Filing statutory and regulatory notifications with relevant authorities
*Managing Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) records
*Supporting transactions such as IPOs and other corporate events
*Conducting technical research on legal, regulatory and governance matters

About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you are eager to learn, proactive and comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
*At least 18 months’ experience in a governance role
*Active progress toward the CGI qualification
*Minimum 2:1 degree in law, finance, history, English, or a related discipline
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Word formatting
*Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
*Experience in a professional office environment
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Meticulous attention to detail
*Exceptional organisational skills
*A curious, proactive approach to problem-solving
*A collaborative, flexible attitude
*A willingness to grow, share and learn from mistakes
*The ability to earn trust quickly with both clients and colleagues
