Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Capital Accountant to join their corporate closing team. Using your technical understanding and previous experience of capital accounting, you’ll join a friendly team to ensure the statement of accounts are completed accurately and on time.
The successful candidate will be technically strong with a good understanding of capital financing, the fixed asset register and IFRS16. You will be proactive with strong attention to detail, as well as having previous demonstrable capital accounting experience, ideally in another local authority or public sector organisation.
A hybrid of two days per week is preferred but applications to work remotely will also be considered.
