Job Description:
We’re a small, well-established accountancy practice in Oxfordshire looking for an Accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a hands-on role in a close-knit team.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy client relationships, autonomy, and being more than just a number.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Managing your own portfolio of owner-managed business clients
*Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
*Handling VAT and tax returns
*Providing proactive advice on tax planning and business performance
*Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to a friendly, collaborative environment
What We’re Looking For
*ACA / ACCA qualified /qbe
*Strong all-round practice experience
*Confident communicator with a personal, client-focused approach
*Comfortable with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Excel
*Happy working independently in a small-firm setting
