THE ROLE
As an Analytics Engineer you will be a core member of the analytics engineering function, responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, production-ready dbt models.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
*Developing dbt models aligned to best practice and team standards.
*Apply strong governance on what is released into the production environment.
*Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand data needs.
*Contribute to the development of medallion architecture and wider data modelling strategy.
*Support the onboarding of a new Databricks environment and enable future ML initiatives.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Analytics Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
*Strong commercial experience using dbt in a production setting.
*Proven SQL expertise and ability to deliver high-quality transformation logic.
*Experience with analytics engineering, data engineering, or a hybrid analytics role.
*Sound understanding of data modelling principles and modern cloud data stacks.
*Experience working with digital, online, or web-based products.
*Familiarity with Databricks is beneficial but not essential.
