Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical Bias)
Days Role | £39,100 + Overtime | OTE £50,000
Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:00 | Friday 8:00-15:00
Location - Hexham
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business experiencing continued growth. Due to expansion within the engineering department, they are looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to their team on a permanent days basis.

The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Electrical or Mechanical fault finding and repair
* PLC fault finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley)
* Maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics systems
* Servicing and repair of pumps and valves
* Welding and fabrication work when required
* Working on boilers, rollers, converting lines and conveyors
* Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
* Supporting continuous improvement across site
What We’re Looking For * Apprentice trained (Mechanical or Electrical)
* Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Comfortable working independently on a days-based role
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
The Package * Salary: £39,100
* Overtime: 1.5x weekdays / 2x Sundays
* OTE: £50,000 +
* Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
* Structured training provided
* Clear reporting structure and progression opportunities
