Programme Manager – Transition, Transformation (T&T) & Agile Delivery
Contract | £750/day (inside IR35) | Onsite (Bracknell/Basingstoke) | 12 months
Clearance: Security Clearance (essential)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead Transition, Transformation and Agile delivery across Defence and National Security (DNS) programmes. Working within our T&T and Agile Centre of Excellence, you will deliver complex change, support programme mobilisation and recovery, and provide assured delivery leadership in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead transition, transformation and agile programmes aligned to DNS outcomes.
*Manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams and apply Agile/hybrid methods.
*Maintain strong governance, RAID management, planning and assurance.
*Ensure compliance with MOD/National Security frameworks (JSPs, ISO27001, GDS, JSP440).
*Provide accurate reporting, financial oversight and integrated planning.
*Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.
*Feed delivery expertise into bids, transitions and recovery activities.
Skills & Experience
*Extensive programme management experience in Defence, National Security or secure/highly regulated environments.
*Strong Agile and hybrid delivery knowledge (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall + Agile).
*Proven capability in integrated planning, RAID, governance and stakeholder engagement.
*Experience leading diverse delivery teams and supplier ecosystems.
*Knowledge of MOD/Gov assurance frameworks (GDS, ISO, CAF, NIST, IPA Gateways).
*Relevant certifications (MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, ITIL) desirable
