Management Accountant
Permanent
Stroud (Hybrid)
£45,000
A dynamic Stroud organisation requires a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to take ownership for the month-end reporting function. The culture of the company is supportive and encourages people to look for improvements and there are opportunities to make a notable difference.
Role responsibilities
*Prepare monthly management accounts
*P&L review with commentary relating to any variances
*Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
*Provide variance analysis and information to budget-holders
*Oversight of monthly payroll
*Support the budgeting and forecasting process
*Provide analytical support to the senior management team
Candidate background
*Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent) with experience gained within management accounts
*Experience of preparing journals, prepayments and accruals and balance sheet recs
*Able to look at a P&L and review accordingly and draw conclusions
*Good level of Excel skills
*Has a positive, can-do attitude
*Can work at pace in a high change environment
