Job Description:
1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – KS2 (Long-Term)
Location: Just outside Northampton
Start Date: After February Half Term
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Pay: £80–£100 per day (DOE)
The Role
Reed Education are supporting a welcoming primary school just outside Northampton who are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a KS2 pupil on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils with additional needs make progress both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with additional needs
*Adapt learning tasks to meet individual targets
*Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
*Deliver tailored literacy, numeracy, and phonics interventions
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
