We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join an established accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with month-end procedures, including: *Preparing and posting journals
*Bank reconciliations
*Assisting with accruals and prepayments
*Supporting management accounts preparation

*Managing the purchase ledger, including: *Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
*Matching, batching and coding invoices
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Handling supplier queries
*Preparing payment runs

*Assisting with sales ledger and credit control as required
*Supporting audits and year-end processes
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
About You:
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (essential)
*Strong purchase ledger experience
*Good understanding of month-end processes
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Proficient in Excel and accounting software
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*AAT qualified or studying (desirable but not essential)
