Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Business Developer to join a nationwide business who have their head office based in Leighton Buzzard. Please note, this is a temporary to permanent role. This position is ideal for someone target driven, motivated, and loves to win new business! Commission package available.
Location: Leighton Buzzard.
Working Hours: Standard business hours, fully office based.
Contract Type: Temp to perm.
Start Date: ASAP.
Overview:
*To develop and drive new business sales opportunities within a target driven environment. You will be responsible for proactively building and nurturing long term relationships with new customers. You will be required to actively prospect for new business and communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements, identifying sales opportunities wherever possible. Cold calling will be a significant part of your day, therefore, you must possess excellent cold calling skills. The role seeks to achieve maximum margin, sales and new business targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Duties:
*To achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals with the objective to sell at prices which maximise margin opportunity.
*Identifying and developing new and existing sales leads.
*Cold calling, potential site visits, researching new markets, attend networking events, etc. KPI set at 80 outbound calls per day.
*Establishing the customer’s requirements and selling product accordingly.
*Negotiating with potential or existing customer by phone or email.
*To maximise sales opportunities on both inbound and out bound sales calls.
*To achieve Minimum set call rates daily.
*To acquire and maintain a sound knowledge of the product range.
*Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out relevant information.
*To ensure that all CRM activity is actioned in a timely and accurate way.
*To develop monthly reports that highlight activity undertaken, success ratios and opportunity tables.
*Actively participate and contribute in all team discussions, meetings and events, demonstrating a positive attitude to colleagues at all times.
*Maintain a flexible and motivated disposition, with an eye for understanding the constant evolution of the business.
*Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to sales activity, health and safety and quality management.
Skills Required:
*Telesales Experience.
*Organisational & Administrative skills.
*Word / Excel / Power point / Email / Web.
*Can do attitude to your job.
*High attention to detail.
*Excellent written and oral English.
