Job Description:
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Hodge Hill / Shard End area for the summer term, starting after Easter.
The role will involve:
Delivering targeted KS2 interventions
Providing general classroom support in Year 3
Supporting pupils with their learning and engagement
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working within KS2 (essential)
Experience delivering interventions or small group support
A positive, proactive approach to supporting learning
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Role details:
Start date: After Easter
Duration: Summer term
Hours: Full-time (term time only)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant looking to work in a supportive school through Prospero Teaching.
Requirements:
· Experience in a KS2 setting and a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
· Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, with a clear ability to support students of varying abilities.
· Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and parents to support the learning process.
· Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting both students and teaching staff.
To Be Eligible For This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
