Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years SEN Support Tutor to support a 4-year-old pupil within a school setting in the BH21 area. This is a mornings-based role, approximately 10 hours per week, starting ASAP.
You’ll be providing 1:1 support, helping this young learner engage positively with their Early Years education and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing: *Planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to Early Years needs.
*Supporting emotional regulation, engagement and confidence.
*Monitoring, assessing, and recording progress.
*Providing weekly progress updates.
*Recording attendance accurately.
*Bringing a calm, fair and adaptable approach to daily challenges.
*Creating a nurturing and safe learning environment.
About You: *Warm, caring, patient and understanding.
*Strong grasp of the Early Years Framework and child development.
*Organised, creative and dependable.
*Confident working with young learners with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
*At least 1 year of experience working in UK schools (ESSENTIAL).
Role Details: *Position: Early Years SEN Tutor
*Location: BH21 Area (school-based)
*Hours: Mornings - approx. 10 hours per week
*Start Date: ASAP
*Contract: Ongoing
Requirements: *Right to work in the UK
*Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
*Recent safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)
*Relevant references on request
