Our client, a major national library based in Euston, is seeking a proactive individual to support the movement and delivery of books across their large, multi-floor site. Immediate start.
About the Role
You’ll play a key part in the smooth running of the library’s operations by:
*Collecting books and other precious items from a large basement storage area
*Using a mechanised lift system to transport items between floors
*Delivering books to the correct rooms and departments across the building
*Ensuring accuracy, care, and safe handling at all times
*Working collaboratively with library and cultural services teams
What We’re Looking For
*Physically fit and able to move, lift, and transport books throughout the day
*Comfortable working in basement and storage environments
*Reliable, organised, and able to follow delivery systems
*Experience in library, archive, cultural or logistics settings is desirable, but not essential
*Positive attitude and willingness to support a busy, public-facing environment
Hours & Pay
*Monday to Friday
*08:00 to 16:00
