Ribble Recruitment is assisting the hiring organisation with the sourcing, screening, and initial stages of recruitment for 6 Customer Service Advisors within a busy Customer Experience Service.
This is a business-critical role supporting frontline council services in a fast-paced, omnichannel contact centre environment.
The RoleAs a Customer Service Advisor, you will:
*Respond to customer enquiries across multiple contact channels (telephone, email, digital platforms, social media)
*Provide accurate information, advice and guidance across a range of council services
*Resolve enquiries at first point of contact where possible
*Escalate or refer complex cases appropriately
*Support and educate customers in accessing digital/self-service options
*Record accurate and complete information within CRM and case management systems
*Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service standards
*Work flexibly between 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
You will be expected to demonstrate strong empathy, professionalism, and resilience when dealing with a diverse customer base.
Candidate RequirementsEssential:*Experience in a contact centre or customer-facing role
*Experience working in a fast-paced, real-time environment
*Experience handling multiple contact channels
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Confident using ICT systems, CRM platforms, and call management systems
*Ability to manage competing priorities and multitask effectively
*Comfortable adapting to change and working in a team environment
Desirable:*Customer service qualification
*Knowledge of Liverpool and local services
*Understanding of Care Act 2014 wellbeing principles
*Experience working to performance targets
