Looking for a role where organisation, problem-solving, and keeping things moving all come together? Join a busy intermodal operation where you’ll play a key part in ensuring containers are safely routed, loaded, and delivered on time.
About the Role
As a Route Coordinator, you’ll work closely with terminals and operations teams to plan and manage container movements to and from rail services. You’ll keep shipments on schedule, documentation accurate, and customers informed—helping everything run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Checking customer paperwork and assigning the correct routing
*Using internal systems to advise terminals of container volumes
*Issuing load instructions and forwarding the right documents
*Ensuring safety procedures are fully followed
*Monitoring deliveries to meet customer deadlines
*Handling customer queries promptly and professionally
*Managing import and export shipments, reporting any issues
*Keeping export schedules, vessel timings, and daily reports up to date
*Coordinating missed traffic, off-hire units, bookings, and shunt lists
*Supporting other operational tasks when needed
