Responsibilities of Sous chef
*Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
*Lead and inspire the team in the Head Chef’s absence
*Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
*Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
*Manage stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
*Train and develop junior team members
About You
*Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous chef ready to step up
*Background in high-quality fresh food environments (fine dining or premium hospitality preferred)
*Strong leadership and organisational skills
*Passion for seasonal produce and refined cooking
*Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
*A positive, team-focused attitude
