Job Description:
A highly respected, Chartered, independent wealth management firm in Central London is
seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is an exceptional
opportunity for a diploma-qualified professional who enjoys autonomy, values high-quality
advice, and is keen to progress toward Chartered status.
You’ll be joining a firm known for its rigorous research, bespoke advice, and strong
professional culture. For the right individual, there is clear scope to progress into a Senior
Paraplanner or Financial Planner in the future.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare documentation for client review meetings
Analyse and interpret adviser notes and client data
Conduct whole-of-market research, complex calculations, and cashflow modelling
Produce high-quality suitability reports (bespoke and templated)
Participate in central research projects and wider business initiatives
Join the firm’s Investment Committee and contribute to discussions
Build strong working relationships with advisers
Take ownership of tasks and follow actions through to completion
Proactively develop your technical knowledge through internal and external learning
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of paraplanning experience within an IFA environment
Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and ideally IHT and trust
planning
Diploma qualified and working toward Chartered status (CII preferred)
Excellent compliance awareness and file management skills
Strong analytical, organisational, and time management abilities
Confident decision-maker with the ability to work independently
Experience with tools such as FE Analytics, Voyant, CashCalc, Xplan (desirable)
Strong Excel skills
Proven ability to produce clear, accurate written financial advice
Whole-of-market research capability
