The Role:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, while progressively taking ownership of management accounting responsibilities as the role evolves.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting month-end processes
*Assisting with preparation of management accounts and profit statements
*Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
*Bank and control account reconciliations
*Supporting VAT returns and statutory reporting
*Trend and variance analysis to support performance insight
*Contributing to the transition to a new accounting system
*Assisting with the continuous improvement of processes and controls
*Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the finance team
About You
*Part-Qualified or Finalist ACCA/CIMA (ACA considered)
*Currently operating as an Assistant Management Accountant and ready to take the next step
*Strong understanding of core finance processes including sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
*Analytical with strong Excel capability
*Confident communicator who can work effectively with stakeholders
*Highly organised, proactive and motivated to progress
