Accounts Assistant
Location: Cheltenham (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to £30,000

Our client, a large global organisation, is hiring an Accounts Assistant to support its busy finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with an international footprint, offering stability, progression, and exposure to a high-performing finance team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing and supporting month-end activities within a collaborative environment.
What you’ll do
*Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
*Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
*Support month-end close activities
*Assist with payment runs and expense processing
*Maintain accurate financial records and support audits where required
You’ll work closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
What we’re looking for
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
*Good Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong organisational and communication skills
