Location: Lincoln
Salary: Up to£40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time – 38.5 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support the Head of Financial Services within a high-performing and collaborative financial services team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant and timely financial planning advice within a professional and supportive environment.
Previous experience is essential and you will ideally be Level 4 Diploma qualified OR working towards.
The position combines technical financial expertise, research, and report preparation, working closely with advisers to ensure outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Analyse clients’ circumstances, portfolios and objectives to prepare comprehensive recommendation reports
*Conduct whole-of-market research across investments, pensions and protection plans
*Review asset allocation and analyse existing client portfolios
*Provide technical, administrative and research support to the Adviser
*Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA-compliant processes and controls
*Submit FCA returns in line with regulatory deadlines
*Build strong working relationships with internal teams and third-party providers
*Contribute to team initiatives and ongoing development projects
Essential Skills & Experience
*Strong technical knowledge of financial planning and personal tax
*Proven experience producing clear, accurate recommendation reports
*Ability to analyse client circumstances and support holistic advice
*Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work independently and meet service targets
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and adviser back-office systems
*Ambitious, adaptable and committed to professional development
Desirable Skills & Experience
*CII Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) or working towards
*Experience with Intelligent Office, Defaqto, O&M or IRESS
*Exposure to Group Life or Pension Schemes administration
*Background in Private Wealth Management
