Role: PPA Teacher
Contract: Part Time - Mon - Wed
Location: Plumstead, Greenwich
Pay Rates: Negotiable
Start Date: Feb Half Term - July 2026
Are you a passionate and adaptable PPA Teacher looking for a new challenge in Greenwich?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PPA Teacher to join a supportive, five-form entry Primary School in Plumstead, Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across all year groups, from Nursery to Year 6, providing vital PPA cover. The role is part-time, starting after Feb Half Term 2026 and running until July 2026, offering a rewarding and varied teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups (Nursery to Year 6) to cover PPA time for the teaching staff.
*Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure effective learning outcomes during PPA cover.
*Support the ongoing development and assessment of student’s progress in line with school policies.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status and experience in teaching across primary school year groups.
*A strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, including the Early Years Foundation Stage.
*Excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to lesson delivery.
*Ability to adapt and work flexibly, covering various subjects and year groups as part of the PPA provision.
*Passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting the diverse needs of all pupils.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
*Recent teaching experience within a primary school setting is essential.
