Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable private tutor to support students withGCSE English and Maths.
Key Details:
*Subjects: GCSE English and GCSE Maths
*Location: In-person tuition around Cheltenham
*Pay: £25 - £35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
*Hours: Flexible
The Ideal Tutor Will:
*Have experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and Maths
*Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt to the student’s learning style
*Be patient, encouraging, and well-organised
*Hold relevant qualifications (teaching qualification preferred but not essential)
*Have an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging, structured lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum
*Identify areas of weakness and tailor support accordingly
*Help build confidence, exam technique, and subject understanding
*Weekly report writing.
