The Deputy Treasury Manager will oversee the management of income within this not for profit sector organisation. This permanent role based in Oxford requires a strong background in cash management, team management and banking expertise to ensure effective operational management

Description
* Reporting to the Treasury Manager, we’re seeking an experienced leader to oversee the secure, compliant and efficient management of the organisations annual income. You’ll lead the team handling all income streams-from bank transfers and card payments to e-commerce and cash.
A key part of the role is owning compliance, setting policy, managing audits, and advising the wider organisation on correct processes. You’ll also manage relationships with banks and payment providers and ensure strong financial controls, risk management and operational excellence.
*Lead and develop a high-performing Income and banking team.
*Oversee all payment channels and ensure accurate, timely income allocation.
*Drive compliance with Anti Money Laundering and Financial Sanctions
*Manage audits and key financial risk controls.
*Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, banks and payment providers.
*Approve and implement new payment solutions and technologies.
*Oversee cash-handling practice and corporate/pre-paid card schemes.
*Deliver expert advice, training and guidance across the organisation

Profile
A successful Deputy Treasury Manager should have:
*Experience in managing and motivating a successful team, in a changing, complex and sometimes challenging operating environment;
*In-depth knowledge and experience of bank processes and reconciliation procedures, including card processing procedures and ecommerce systems;
*Knowledge and experience of a wide range of payment systems;
*Specialist knowledge of the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards;
*An in-depth understanding of Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and the implications of Financial Sanctions requirements
*Be happy to commute to Oxford at least 3 days a week
