Key Responsibilities of the 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer:
You’ll be the go-to expert for a wide range of external clients, delivering exceptional support across varied IT environments. Every day brings something new, and you’ll be right at the heart of it:
*Proactive monitoring of IT systems
*Helpdesk and incident management
*Remote and onsite technical support
*Configuring users, PCs, and servers
*Router/Firewall setup, configuration & troubleshooting
*Performing key system checks, including backups and AV monitoring/reporting
Tech You’ll Be Working With:
We’re looking for breadth, depth, and confidence across core Windows and cloud technologies. Your background should include solid hands-on experience with:
*Active Directory (Windows Server 2016+)
*PowerShell scripting
*Microsoft SharePoint
*Microsoft Office 365
*Remote Desktop Services
*Windows 11
*Networking & TCP/IP
*Backup applications & monitoring tools
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:
*3+ years experience in IT support (2nd/3rd Line)
*Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
*The ability to stay calm, organised and effective under pressure
*A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies
*A full UK driving licence
*Eligibility to work in the UK
Working Hours:
*Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
*This is an office-based role — no hybrid working.
