We’re looking for a relationship-focused Collections Officer to join a growing service-led organisation working closely with Local Authorities.
This isn’t a traditional high-volume credit control role. Instead, you’ll focus on understanding billing requirements, investigating delayed payments, and building strong working relationships to ensure smooth and timely income collection.

What You’ll Be Doing:
*Managing and resolving outstanding payments from Local Authorities
*Investigating invoice queries and identifying root causes of delays
*Understanding funding and billing requirements across different authorities
*Building strong internal and external relationships
*Analysing aged debt and supporting process improvements
What We’re Looking For: *Experience working with Local Authorities (essential)
*Background in a fee-based or contract-led service environment
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
*Organised and proactive approach
