An established and respected engineering and manufacturing business based in Bradford is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Stainless Steel Fabricator. The company designs and builds high-quality machinery for clients across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on precision and standards.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced TIG Welder with strong stainless steel fabrication skills to join a growing production team. The role involves fabricating machinery components to tight tolerances, predominantly using stainless steel.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform TIG welding to a high standard, working primarily with stainless steel
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication instructions
*Assemble and fabricate stainless steel components and frames
*Ensure all work meets quality and hygiene standards, particularly for food-grade machinery
*Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
*Proven experience in TIG welding, especially with stainless steel
*Ability to work from technical drawings with minimal supervision
*A strong work ethic and attention to detail
*Team player with good communication skills
*Flexibility to work overtime when required
