Bookkeeper (Part Time – 28–30 Hours)

About the role
This hands-on Bookkeeper position offers variety, autonomy and client interaction from day one.
You will be:
*Managing bookkeeping for your own portfolio of clients
*Running debtors and creditors
*Completing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
*Preparing quarterly and annual VAT returns
*Handling CIS returns
*Producing management accounts
*Processing a small amount of payroll
*Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
*Influencing clients to meet deadlines and maintain compliance


What we are looking for
This role requires a confident, experienced Bookkeeper who can work independently and build strong client relationships.
You will have:
*Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within practice
*Strong working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks (essential)
*Experience managing multiple clients
*Excellent communication skills
*The confidence to liaise directly with clients
*The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
*A proactive and reliable approach
