We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Plaster Technician to work within a busy Trauma & Orthopaedic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:You will work closely with Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurses and the wider MDT to provide expert plaster application and removal services, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:*Application, adjustment and removal of plaster casts and splints
*Assisting in fracture clinics and minor injury settings
*Advising patients on cast care and aftercare instructions
*Maintaining clinical standards and infection control protocols
*Supporting the wider team to ensure efficient clinic flow
About You:*Proven experience as a Plaster Technician within a clinical setting
*BOA Casting Certificate (or equivalent) desirable
*Strong understanding of fracture management and immobilisation techniques
*Excellent communication and patient care skills
*Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability
