Job Description:
Disrepair Surveyor needed in South west London Paying £296.38 per day ref 1692239
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out thorough surveys of residential properties to identify defects, HHSRS issues, and disrepair risks.
*Diagnose root causes of damp, mould, leaks, structural issues, and other property-related concerns.
*Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining findings, required works, schedules of repair, and estimated costs.
*Manage disrepair cases from instruction through to resolution, ensuring timely and effective action.
*Work collaboratively with legal teams on Section 11 and Housing Disrepair claims, providing expert evidence when required.
*Liaise with contractors, repairs teams, and residents to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Landlord & Tenant Act, Housing Act, and health & safety regulations.
*Maintain accurate records, photographs, condition reports, and updates in relevant case management systems.
*Attend court hearings or case conferences as required to support legal processes.
*Provide professional technical advice to colleagues, residents, and stakeholders.
