Year 6 Teacher - Maternity Cover (Part-Time or Full-Time)
*Milton Keynes
*After Easter Break
*Contract: Maternity Cover
Are you a confident and enthusiastic KS2 teacher who enjoys the challenge and reward of Year 6?
We’re working with a welcoming and supportive primary school looking for a fantastic Year 6 Teacher to join them from the Easter break to cover maternity leave. The school can offer flexibility - whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time, they’re happy to discuss what works.
Year 6 is such an important year, and the school is keen to find someone who can guide pupils through their final primary chapter with positivity, structure and encouragement.
What you’ll be doing: *Teaching a Year 6 class through their SATs preparation and final term(s)
*Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
*Supporting pupils academically and emotionally as they prepare for secondary school
*Working closely with a supportive SLT and KS2 team
Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you: *Hold QTS
*Have KS2 teaching experience (Year 6 experience is ideal but not essential)
*Are confident with assessment and preparing pupils for SATs
*Can provide 2 references and complete all compliance requirements
*Build strong relationships and create a positive classroom environment

*£32.916 - £45.352 (depending on teacher pay scale.) Annual salary will be pro rated.
