Trinity House Group is partnering with a large, complex organisation to appoint a Head of Transactional Finance — a pivotal leadership role shaping the performance, controls, and service delivery of high-volume finance operations.
This is an opportunity for an experienced finance leader to take ownership of end-to-end transactional processes, drive continuous improvement, and lead multiple specialist teams in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

The Role
You will lead the full suite of transactional finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll interface, Banking and Systems. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll manage a group of experienced managers and oversee service delivery, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key priorities include:
*Enhancing purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes
*Strengthening financial controls, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation
*Driving digital transformation, automation, and workflow optimisation
*Leading teams through change, development, and performance improvement
*Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and non-finance colleagues
*Delivering a customer-focused finance service with clear KPIs and SLAs
About You
You’ll bring significant experience operating in a large, multifaceted organisation with complex income streams and diverse stakeholders. You are a confident leader who thrives on improving systems, processes, and team capability.

Essential experience includes:
*Leading high-volume transactional finance operations
*Managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams
*Implementing process improvements and digital transformation
*Have experience in managing transactional finance teams with at least 10 heads
*Advanced systems and data skills
*Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
