Job Description:
*Reduce Creditor payment times
*Maintain and update Purchase Ledger
*Invoice and Credit control
Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger / Payables
6 month contract
Eastleigh - full-time in office
37 hours per week
£13.52 per hour plus holiday pay
We are currently recruiting for an experience Finance Officer with a background in Purchase Ledger to match invoices to authorised orders ensuring any discrepancies are reported to issuing departments
As Finance Officer you will be responsible for dealing with creditor queries, validating approved invoice documents and ensuring payment runs are performed on a weekly basis, making sure all outstanding invoices and due invoices are settled.
To be successful as a Finance Officer in this role, you should have 2 years experience of working in a finance environment, be able to work accurately regarding data entry, be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and have an understanding of Microsoft Excel
