Job Title: Customer Service Executive
Reporting To: Customer Service Manager
Permanent/Full Time
Chelmsford - 5 Days a week in the office

We are recruiting an experienced Customer Service Executive to provide support to the Sales Managers as well as account managing a portfolio of UK customers.
Successful applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience within an office-based customer service role and have experience of dealing with customers over the phone, providing an exceptional service at all times.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Manage a portfolio of UK customers’ orders, liaising with internal departments including Operations as well as both external partners and haulage providers to ensure that deliveries are made according to customers’ requirements.
2. You will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance relating to HMRC Customs & Excise procedures.
3. Provide support to the Sales Managers as required.
4. Identify and communicate opportunities for the improvement of our service to customers.
5. Provide cover as required for similar administrative functions within the company and undertake any other appropriate duties as requested.
6. Actively support and suggest sustainable goals linked to the role, including environment, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Person Specification:
*Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience.
*Experience within the Manufacturing industry is essential
*Excellent customer service.
*Handling and resolving problems or experience scheduling.
*Strong IT skills (competent with MS Office)
*Able to deal calmly and effectively with customers and bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
