Job Description:
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join the People Performance Improvement Team (PPIT) based in Kilburn. This role is central to supporting HR projects under our hybrid working policy and requires a professional with a strong background in HR, particularly in managing exit programmes and leavers processes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing HR initiatives with precision, empathy, and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Pay rate: £337 per day via PAYE / £440 per day via Umbrella
Location: North West London (Kilburn) - 3 days in the office
Contract duration: 6 months
Day-to-day of the role:
*Complete HR exit administration tasks, manage expressions of interest, and coordinate scheme panels.
*Prepare panel documentation and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for officers and line managers, offering responsive and professional support to resolve queries and concerns.
*Provide strategic and operational guidance to managers on the implications of specific HR projects.
*Deliver direct support to impacted officers, ensuring they are well-informed about relevant policies and processes.
*Liaise with all HR teams involved in the project to ensure alignment and awareness of project timelines, volumes, and changes.
*Coordinate with panel members to ensure panels are conducted in accordance with scheme policies and procedures.
*Proactively identify any issues that could impact the delivery of HR Project timelines and objectives.
*Work with local management and third-party suppliers to ensure delivery of services required during the project.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*CIPD qualification or currently studying towards it, or possess extensive HR knowledge/experience.
*Broad knowledge of HR issues and understanding of their linkages to wider business areas.
*Ability to rapidly build trust and good working relationships with internal and external partners.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general understanding of HR Information Systems.
*Effective meeting facilitator with the ability to update records accurately.
*Proven capability to work with data and provide insights from analysis.
*Action and delivery focused, able to seek solutions and provide succinct information summaries to support issue resolution.
*Experience in delivering exceptional service and reviewing HR services from a customer perspective.
*Good organisational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and deliver quality work within allotted timescales.
