Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Office & People Manager to act as the internal operational backbone of the business. This is a hands-on, trusted role combining admin, office operations, HR support, and culture stewardship.
This is not a traditional PA/EA role. We are looking for someone who owns systems, improves ways of working, and brings calm structure to a fast-moving consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office, Operations & Admin
*Day-to-day operational management of the consultancy
*Diary, travel, expenses, invoices, timesheets, contract admin
*SharePoint ownership (structure, governance, access, templates)
People & HR Support
*Ownership and maintenance of HR policies and handbooks (UK & US)
*First-line HR support and triage (with escalation to external advisors)
*Onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors
*Contract lifecycle management, right-to-work checks, IR35 admin support
Academy & IP Support
*Admin support for Academy programmes
*Scheduling, comms, materials, feedback and certification
*Maintaining IP, templates, and learning content libraries
Recruitment & Bench Management
*Recruitment coordination and candidate experience
*Associate bench tracking and availability management
Governance & Rhythm
*Leadership and team meeting coordination
*Action tracking and follow-ups
*Supporting delivery cadence and operational reporting
Culture & Team Experience
*Team socials, welcome packs, birthday acknowledgements
*Reinforcing values and ways of working
Candidate Profile
Essential
*Experience in professional services / consultancy / agency environments
*Strong operational and organisational capability
*Comfortable owning systems (SharePoint, Teams, similar)
*Experience supporting HR processes and policies
*Self-starter who anticipates issues and proposes solutions
*Confident supporting senior consultants and leadership
Desirable
*UK & US operational or HR exposure
*Experience working with contractors and associates
*HR or operations qualification (not essential)
