Start Date: September 2026
Contract: 1 Year Maternity Cover
Inner London Pay Scale M1-M6 (£206.75-£268.21 per day PAYE)
SANZA Teaching Agency are working closely with a welcoming and forward-thinking independent primary school in Islington to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a full academic year maternity cover starting September 2026.
This supportive and creative school delivers a rich, engaging curriculum that allows pupils to flourish academically and personally. They are seeking a confident Upper KS2 Class Teacher with strong KS2 experience who is passionate about guiding pupils through their final year of primary education.
The Role The successful Year 6 Teacher / Upper KS2 Class Teacher will:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year expectations and SATs
* Plan and deliver a broad and creative curriculum as a dedicated Year 6 Teacher
* Use assessment data to track progress and raise attainment across KS2
* Provide strong pastoral support as an empathetic Upper KS2 Class Teacher
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across KS2
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement as a confident Year 6 Teacher
