A respected housing provider in the Leeds area is seeking a versatile and experienced Multiskilled Operative to join their Property Services team. This role is ideal for someone confident across several trades, with strong joinery skills and additional competencies in tiling, painting & decorating, plastering, and general repairs.
?? The Role
As a Multiskilled Operative, you’ll carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties. You’ll work independently, completing a wide range of tasks to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service to tenants.
?? Key Responsibilities
*?? Joinery work including door repairs, skirting, architraves, and internal fixtures
*?? Tiling for kitchens, bathrooms, splashbacks, and patch repairs
*�? Painting & decorating including surface prep, glossing, and emulsion work
*�? Basic plastering such as patch repairs, bonding, skimming small areas
*?? Plumbing (desirable) - tap changes, waste repairs, leak fixes
*�? Carry out general domestic repairs within occupied and void properties
*?? Ensure all work is completed to specification and within agreed timescales
*?? Maintain van stock and use job management systems
*?? Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with tenants
*?? Travel to various sites across the Leeds area

�? What We’re Looking For
*? Strong joinery background (essential)
*? Experience in tiling, painting & decorating, and light plastering
*? Additional plumbing ability is highly desirable
*? Previous work within domestic or social housing settings
*? Ability to work independently and deliver first-time fixes
*? Full UK Driving Licence
*? Good communication and problem-solving skills
