Job Description:
ASC Connections is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler in Redditch.
As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical components and subassemblies following engineering drawings and technical specifications. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with various tools and equipment.
As a Mechanical Assembler your duties will include:
*Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to technical drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.
*Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and other technical documentation to determine the correct assembly process.
*Inspect completed assemblies using measurement tools such as calipers, scales, and micrometers to ensure conformance to specifications.
*Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, deburring, grinding, smoothing, and cleaning assembled parts.
*Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and accurately.
To be successful in the role of Mechanical Assembler you will need to have:
*Previous experience in Mechanical Assembly
*Experience using hand and power tools
*Ability to read and interpret drawings.
