Job Title - Management Accountant
Location - Hertfordshire
Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Contract - Permanent
Working Pattern - 4 days a week in office, 1 day remote
Job Responsibilities
*Take overall responsibility for weekly takings sheets and revenue recognition processes across UK venues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial records.
*Manage the fixed asset register and oversee capital expenditure reporting, maintaining up-to-date records that support effective decision-making.
*Handle corporate overhead accounting and forecasting activities, contributing valuable insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
*Review monthly revenue figures and venue profit & loss statements, identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
*Prepare statutory accounts in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and transparency at every stage of the process.
*Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations including gift cards, deferred revenue, and stock accounts to maintain robust financial controls.
*Oversee all aspects of intercompany accounting for UK entities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation between group companies.
Experience Required
*Possess excellent IT skills with particular strength in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas for data analysis and reporting purposes.
*Demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities with clear written and verbal communication skills that enable effective collaboration across departments.
